The Early Childhood Director is responsible for the management of day-to-day operations of the school which includes hiring and onboarding teachers, mentoring through collaboration and goal setting, providing ongoing support for parents and families, maintaining a fully enrolled, developmentally appropriate, program aligned with the Ministry of Education and the CityKids educational philosophy.

Tzaharon is an after-school program designed to provide 1st and 2nd grade English Speaking children with a safe, engaging, and educational environment during the afternoon hours. It offers a variety of activities, including English learning, homework assistance, baking, sports, creative arts, and social development exercises.

Position Details:

  • Contract Period: August 25th, 2024- June 30th, 2025
  • Sunday- Thursday 13:00-16:45
  • Starting Salary- 4,680nis/month
  • Paid School Vacation Days

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (completed or near completion) and/or certificate in teaching
  • Experience in a classroom setting
  • Native English Speaker

Our English Classes for Native English Speakers are designed for children 3-13 years old. Children learn in small groups meeting once weekly, with a curriculum committed to improving their Reading, Writing, Oral Communication, and Literary Appreciation.

Position Details:

  • Contract Period:  Sep 1st, 2024- June 30th, 2025
  • Mondays, Tuesdays, and/or Wednesdays | 16:30-17:30 and/or 17:30-18:30
  • Starting Salary- 120/hour

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (completed or near completion) in Education and/or certificate in teaching, TEFL/TESOL
  • Experience teaching in a classroom setting
  • Native English Speaker (mother tongue)

Our seasonal workshops are designed to provide engaging, hands-on learning experiences for children in English. Each workshop focuses on a specific theme or skill, such as science experiments, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, or cooking.

Position Details:

  • Contract Period:  Seasonal- Fall/ Winter/ Spring/ or Summer – 3 month commitment
  • Mondays, Tuesdays, and/or Wednesdays | 16:30-17:30 and/or 17:30-18:30
  • Starting Salary- 120/hour

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children in small groups
  • Experience and passion for the workshop taught (Science, Art, Cooking, Sports, Caregiver and Me, etc.)
  • English Fluency
  • Proven ability to create lesson plans

Our Friday Club offers a camp-like experience every Friday from 8:30 to 12:30. It’s a fun, engaging program where children aged 3-6 can participate in a variety of activities such as arts and crafts, baking, science, and park time.

Position Details:

  • Contract Period- September-July
  • Fridays 8:00- 12:45
  • Starting Salary- 300/session

Qualifications:

  • Experience with children in a camp, nannying or classroom setting
  • Proven ability to work as a team member
  • English Fluency

Our camp takes place during school breaks. We offer an enriching and fun-filled experience for children 3-13, fully in English. With a wide range of activities including sports, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, and educational workshops, our camp provides a perfect blend of learning and play.

Position Details:

  • Sukkot, Chanukah, Purim, Passover, and summer break.
  • Commitment to camp dates | 8:00-16:15

As an Early Childhood substitute teacher, you will collaborate with co-teachers on the day-to-day tasks and well-being of children in your classroom. This position requires someone who is willing to step right in and take initiative.
