At CityKids, we believe curriculum includes everything that happens during our time together with the children. Each moment offers an opportunity to explore relationships and to create a community that nurtures children, teachers, and families. At the heart of our approach lies the belief that children are competent, curious, and full of emerging ideas and creativity.
Our teachers provide warm settings where children are engaged in play-based, child-centered learning that supports social, emotional, physical and cognitive development with respect to their individual needs. Our goal is to create an environment where each child develops a greater sense of self, a respect for others and a life long love of learning.
Our program is licensed by the Ministry of Social Services and the Ministry of Education.

Active Applications
CityKids branches will announce their Active Application periods typically around February each year.
During the Active Application periods, branches will host Virtual Tours, Open House Evenings, and will be actively seeking to fill available spaces expected for the following September.
Waitlist Applications
CityKids welcomes families to continue to apply for a space in the Nursery School even after the Active Application period has concluded. We know that circumstances change and we welcome new families who arrive in the middle of the year.
Application Steps:
Please note, submission of an application form requires payment of a non-refundable 250nis application fee.
Step Three (Active Application Period): You will receive invitations for Virtual Tours and Open House Evenings.
Step Three (Waitlist Applications): Your application will automatically be added to the Waitlist. Should a potentially appropriate space become available, we will reach out to you to schedule a meeting and tour of the space.
Step Four (Active Application Period): You will be notified of your initial Application Status once the Active Application Period has concluded. Families offered a space for the coming year will be invited to complete their Enrollment. Families for whom there is not an appropriate space available to offer will be placed on the Waitlist and will be notified should an appropriate space become available.
Step Four (Waitlist Application Period): Your application will automatically have been placed on the Waitlist, and you will be notified should a potentially relevant space become available.
All applications remain on file until the opening of the next year’s Active Application period.
There are three main qualities when accepting children into our program. Firstly, we hope to have a spread of
birthdays with children born between January to December. Secondly, we aim to have an equal number of boys and
girls and lastly, in order to ensure strong English language acquisition we are conscious of home languages,
prioritizing children who are already exposed to English. Families will be notified in March 2024 whether they have
been offered placement, or a place on our waiting list.
